Nathan brings over 17 years of employee benefits experience. Prior to co-founding Strategic Benefit Resources, Nathan had various distribution roles within Reliance Standard, Sun Life Financial, and Mirant Corporation. Nathan has detailed knowledge and experience with a number of employee benefit products including medical stop-loss, dental, life, disability, and voluntary products. Nathan specializes in risk management of self-funded health plans including components of risk analysis, risk optimization, and evaluation of traditional and alternative risk management strategies.
With over 25 years’ experience in the employee benefits field, Wayne has consulted with clients in all aspects of employee benefits including health and welfare, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, human resources, benefits administration outsourcing, executive benefits and worksite marketing programs. Prior to co-founding Strategic Benefit Resources, Wayne held leadership, sales and consulting roles at Lockton Companies, Marsh and Prudential Healthcare.
Chuck brings over 16 years of employee benefit experience working in a variety of distribution roles with Reliance Standard Life Insurance Co. Chuck has detailed knowledge and experience with employee benefit products including Stop-Loss, Life, Disability, Dental, Voluntary products, Self-Funded ASO STD, FMLA Administration Outsourcing, and ADAAA. Chuck has a unique blend of Insurance expertise coupled with an extensive background in selling Enterprise Technology Solutions.
Michael is currently responsible for growth and development of SBR Ancillary. Michael has close to two decades of insurance expertise ranging across various size segments, markets and products. Michael started his career as a sales executive for two industry leading insurance companies. He earned recognition as a perennial top sales performer and consistently served on advisory councils for both companies. Preceding SBR, Michael helped lead and grow an alternative distribution business for a broker agnostic division of a national benefits broker. This business, over close to a three-year span, was one of the fastest growing business verticals within the company.
Jess is currently responsible for leading strategy and day-to-day operations for SBR Ancillary.
Jess has well over a decade of operations expertise across various facets of the group benefits industry. Jess started her career in benefits outsourcing with a top consulting firm working with Fortune 500 clients. After building a strong foundation of operational acumen and benefits domain knowledge, she took on a role leading brokerage and eligibility operations for a leading SMB SaaS firm with an in-house brokerage. Preceding SBR, Jess lead operations and provided profit and loss oversight across an alternative distribution channel for a broker agnostic division of a national benefits broker. Jess gained invaluable experience leading a team of over 50 employees focused on retail insurance, wholesale insurance, and benefits technology.
Justin is currently responsible for growth and development of a specialty benefits division within SBR’s parent company, Specialty Program Group. Justin also works in collaboration with Michael and Jess to drive growth for SBR Ancillary.
